Responsibilities
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process to ensure GAAP compliance.
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll operations with a focus on process optimization.
- Prepare comprehensive financial statements and management reports for the executive leadership team.
- Oversee tax compliance, regulatory reporting, and annual audit engagements.
- Develop and implement robust internal controls to mitigate operational risk.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to drive budget forecasting and variance analysis.
- Supervise and mentor the junior accounting staff to foster a culture of professional excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is strongly preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting or financial management.
- In-depth knowledge of US GAAP and corporate tax regulations.
- Expertise in ERP systems (NetSuite, Sage, or SAP) and advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency.
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects and manage high-performing teams.
