Responsibilities
- Oversee all corporate accounting operations, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable.
- Direct the month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process, providing variance analysis to stakeholders.
- Manage external audit relationships and tax compliance efforts.
- Develop and implement robust internal financial controls to safeguard company assets.
- Mentor and lead a growing team of accounting professionals.
- Provide strategic insights to the CFO regarding cash flow management and working capital optimization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s/MBA preferred).
- Active CPA certification is required.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or audit.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle).
- Exceptional command of GAAP and technical accounting standards.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate financial data to non-financial executives.
