Responsibilities
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.
- Manage the accuracy and integrity of the general ledger and financial statements.
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and tax compliance.
- Develop and implement robust internal controls to mitigate operational risk.
- Direct the annual audit process and serve as the primary liaison with external auditors.
- Analyze financial performance against budgets and provide actionable insights to executive leadership.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and stay abreast of evolving regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; MBA or Master's in Accounting preferred.
- CPA or CMA certification required.
- Minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or public accounting.
- Expert-level proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or Sage Intacct).
- Exceptional analytical skills with advanced proficiency in MS Excel and data visualization tools.
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing finance teams.
