Responsibilities
- Direct and manage all accounting operations, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable.
- Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Coordinate and lead the annual audit process with external auditors to ensure full compliance.
- Optimize internal financial controls and streamline reporting workflows for improved operational efficiency.
- Develop robust financial forecasts, budgets, and variance analysis reports for the Board of Directors.
- Manage treasury functions, including cash flow monitoring and liquidity forecasting.
- Provide mentorship to the accounting team to foster a culture of technical excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification is strongly preferred.
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a management or leadership role.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or Sage Intacct) and Microsoft Excel.
- Deep expertise in US GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
- Proven track record of improving financial systems and implementing automated workflows.
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment while maintaining strict attention to detail.
