Responsibilities
- Oversee month-end/year-end close processes and ensure GAAP compliance across all entities
- Lead financial reporting initiatives including SEC filings, investor decks, and board presentations
- Design and implement internal controls to mitigate financial risks and enhance operational efficiency
- Manage SOX 404 audits and liaise with external auditors to ensure smooth audit cycles
- Drive process optimization through automation and system integrations (NetSuite, SAP)
- Provide strategic financial insights to support M&A activities and expansion strategies
- Mentor junior finance professionals and develop departmental training programs
Qualifications
- CPA certification with 8+ years progressive finance experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Expertise in SEC reporting, complex consolidations, and multinational tax structures
- Proven track record leading SOX 404 audits and implementing robust internal controls
- Advanced proficiency in financial systems (ERP, BI tools) and data visualization
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Strong leadership experience managing cross-functional teams in matrix organizations
- Experience in financial services or investment management preferred
- Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or MBA required
