Responsibilities
- Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes with precision
- Lead GAAP-compliant financial reporting and analysis for executive stakeholders
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure financial integrity
- Manage tax compliance, audits, and regulatory reporting requirements
- Optimize accounting systems and workflows for operational efficiency
- Mentor junior accounting staff and foster a culture of continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA required)
- 8+ years progressive accounting experience with public/private sector blend
- Expertise in multi-entity consolidation and complex financial reporting
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and Excel modeling
- Proven experience leading SOX 404 compliance and external audits
- Strong strategic thinking and cross-functional collaboration skills
