Responsibilities
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process with precision and efficiency.
- Oversee all accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions.
- Develop and implement robust internal controls to ensure compliance and mitigate financial risk.
- Partner with leadership to drive budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning.
- Direct the preparation of financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
- Manage external audit processes and serve as the primary liaison for tax and regulatory agencies.
- Mentor and develop a team of accounting professionals to foster a culture of excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or MBA highly preferred).
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or public accounting.
- Expert-level proficiency in GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
- Proven ability to leverage ERP systems (NetSuite, Sage, or Oracle) to optimize workflows.
- Advanced analytical skills with the ability to translate data into strategic insights.
- Strong leadership experience with a track record of managing and scaling finance teams.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
