Responsibilities
- Oversee month-end/year-end closing processes and ensure accurate financial reporting
- Develop and implement internal controls to mitigate financial risks
- Lead budgeting and forecasting initiatives to support strategic decision-making
- Manage tax compliance and planning activities
- Supervise accounting team and mentor junior professionals
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments on financial analysis
- Drive process improvements in accounting operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA required)
- 8+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Expertise in GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software (NetSuite, QuickBooks)
- Strong leadership and team management experience
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Experience in financial services or consulting industry
- Master's degree or MBA preferred
