Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Conduct in-depth variance analysis to explain differences between actual results and budgets, providing actionable insights.
- Develop and maintain complex financial models for forecasting and strategic planning purposes.
- Collaborate with department heads to create annual operating budgets and long-term forecasts.
- Streamline accounting processes and implement best practices to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Present financial data and analysis to executive leadership and board members.
- Assist in external audits and coordinate with external auditors to ensure compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration (Master’s degree preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, corporate accounting, or a related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) is a plus.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, Macros) and financial reporting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for presenting to non-financial audiences.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
