Responsibilities
- Develop complex financial models for valuation, forecasting, and scenario analysis of potential investments and M&A targets.
- Conduct thorough due diligence, market research, and competitive analysis to support investment banking transactions.
- Prepare detailed presentations, pitch books, and financial reports for senior management and clients.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with investment bankers, legal counsel, and other stakeholders throughout the deal lifecycle.
- Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and economic developments to identify risks and opportunities.
- Assist in the structuring and execution of various financial transactions, including equity offerings, debt financings, and advisory assignments.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior analysts, fostering a strong team environment.
- Streamline and improve existing financial analysis processes and methodologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related quantitative field. Master's degree or CFA designation preferred.
- 4-7 years of progressive experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate finance, or a related analytical role.
- Exceptional financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and databases (e.g., Bloomberg, Capital IQ, FactSet, Refinitiv).
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills are a must.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and corporate finance concepts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts clearly and concisely.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
