Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of complex financial models to forecast revenue, expenses, and capital requirements for new product lines.
- Conduct in-depth variance analysis and provide actionable insights to executive leadership to drive strategic growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Operations, and Sales) to optimize budget allocation and resource management.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and market trends to identify potential risks and opportunities.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Oversee the month-end close process and ensure compliance with internal controls and GAAP standards.
- Support M&A activities by performing due diligence and valuation analysis on potential acquisition targets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree or MBA preferred).
- 5+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, preferably within the Fintech or Investment Banking sectors.
- Proficiency in advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, Macros) and experience with financial modeling software (e.g., Anaplan, Adaptive Insights).
- Strong technical aptitude: Experience with SQL, Python, or R for data extraction and analysis is a major plus.
- CFA or CPA certification is highly desirable but not mandatory.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and present them clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence decision-making at the executive level.
