Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, KPIs, and market trends to inform strategic decision-making
- Develop comprehensive financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and scenario planning
- Lead month-end/quarter-end close processes ensuring GAAP compliance
- Collaborate with investment teams to evaluate portfolio performance and risk metrics
- Present financial insights to C-suite executives and board committees
- Streamline financial reporting processes using automation tools
- Mentor junior analysts and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive financial analysis experience in investment banking or asset management
- Expert proficiency in Excel (VBA, Power Query) and financial modeling
- Advanced SQL and data visualization skills (Tableau/Power BI)
- Deep understanding of SEC regulations and financial reporting standards
- Proven track record of automating financial processes
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex data
