Responsibilities
- Develop sophisticated financial models to support investment valuations and M&A activities.
- Perform variance analysis on P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow statements to identify operational risks.
- Prepare executive-level presentations for board meetings and quarterly earnings calls.
- Collaborate with department heads to manage annual budgeting and rolling forecasts.
- Identify process improvement opportunities to increase fiscal efficiency and reporting accuracy.
- Conduct deep-dive market research to stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting; MBA or CFA preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A) or investment banking.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (macros, Power Query) and experience with ERP systems like SAP or Oracle.
- Exceptional ability to synthesize large datasets into actionable insights for senior leadership.
- Strong understanding of GAAP/IFRS principles and regulatory compliance standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
