Responsibilities
- Financial Forecasting & Modeling: Develop comprehensive annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term strategic models to support business growth.
- Variance Analysis: Monitor actual performance against forecasts, identifying trends, variances, and risks, and providing actionable recommendations to mitigate them.
- Reporting & Dashboards: Create executive-level presentations and interactive dashboards (using Power BI or Tableau) to visualize financial data and KPIs.
- Process Improvement: Streamline financial reporting processes and improve the efficiency of the FP&A workflow using advanced Excel techniques.
- Cost Management: Analyze cost structures and support initiatives to reduce expenses while maintaining operational excellence.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for department heads regarding budget inquiries and financial performance reviews.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree or MBA is a strong plus).
- Certifications: CPA, CFA, or CMA designation preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or corporate finance.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VBA, PivotTables) and experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite).
- Analytical Tools: Demonstrated ability to work with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into clear business insights.
