Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP and internal standards.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process and develop monthly rolling forecasts to support strategic initiatives.
- Analysis: Conduct in-depth variance analysis to explain financial results, identify trends, and recommend actionable solutions.
- Audit Support: Assist external auditors and internal controls teams during the annual audit process to ensure compliance.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and implement automation tools to increase efficiency.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with department heads to develop business cases and support capital investment decisions.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration (Master’s degree preferred).
- Experience: 3-5+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis or accounting.
- Certification: CPA, CMA, or CFA designation is a significant plus.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP) and experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite).
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret complex data sets and communicate findings clearly to stakeholders.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present financial data to senior leadership.
