Responsibilities
- Strategic Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain complex financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategic planning.
- Performance Analysis: Conduct in-depth variance analysis to explain financial performance against budget and forecast, providing actionable recommendations to leadership.
- Reporting & Visualization: Create executive-level dashboards and presentations using tools like Tableau or Power BI to communicate key financial metrics and trends effectively.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements within the FP&A department to enhance efficiency and data accuracy.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with department heads to understand business unit drivers and align financial strategies with corporate goals.
- Compliance & Audit: Ensure all financial reports adhere to internal controls and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA designation is a strong plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or investment banking.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, Macros) and experience with financial modeling software (e.g., Bloomberg Terminal, Capital IQ).
- Analytical Mindset: Exceptional ability to synthesize large datasets into clear, concise narratives.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and integrity in financial reporting.
