Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Lead the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal policies.
- Variance Analysis: Conduct in-depth variance analysis to identify trends, explain variances against budget and forecast, and recommend corrective actions.
- Strategic Planning: Support the annual budgeting process and long-term strategic planning initiatives by developing accurate financial models and scenarios.
- Forecasting: Develop and maintain rolling forecasts to provide leadership with real-time visibility into the company's financial health.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting systems.
- Stakeholder Communication: Present complex financial data to executive leadership and non-financial stakeholders in a clear, concise manner.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree or MBA is preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, corporate accounting, or investment banking.
- Certifications: CPA, CMA, or CFA designation is strongly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, Macros) and experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite).
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret complex data sets and translate them into actionable business insights.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
