Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis, modeling, and forecasting to support strategic business decisions and capital allocation.
- Prepare detailed financial reports, presentations, and dashboards for senior management and key stakeholders.
- Manage and support the annual budgeting and long-range planning processes, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Analyze market trends, economic indicators, and competitive landscapes to identify opportunities and risks.
- Proactively identify cost-saving initiatives, revenue enhancement strategies, and efficiency improvements.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with various departments (e.g., Sales, Operations, Technology) to gather data and provide financial insights.
- Present complex financial information and recommendations clearly and concisely to non-financial audiences.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior analysts, fostering their professional development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a closely related field; MBA or CFA certification strongly preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or investment banking within the financial services industry.
- Expert proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and scenario analysis.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial functions) required; experience with VBA a plus.
- Demonstrated experience with financial planning software (e.g., SAP, Oracle Hyperion, Adaptive Planning).
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts effectively.
