We're seeking a detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to oversee complex financial operations, deliver actionable insights, and support executive decision-making. This hybrid role offers the flexibility to work remotely 2 days per week while collaborating in our state-of-the-art Manhattan office.
Responsibilities
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting cycles including P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow analyses
- Develop and maintain robust financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning initiatives
- Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable recommendations to senior leadership
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize operational efficiency and cost management
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and industry regulations while implementing internal controls
- Lead special projects including M&A due diligence, capital allocation analysis, and market expansion financial assessments
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis within public accounting or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, complex formulas) and financial modeling software
- Demonstrated experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex data into strategic insights
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present financial narratives to non-financial stakeholders
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional projects and driving process improvements
