Responsibilities
- Lead financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting processes to support strategic planning and operational decisions.
- Conduct in-depth variance analysis and provide insightful commentary on financial performance against budgets and forecasts.
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports, presentations, and dashboards for senior management and stakeholders.
- Support due diligence activities and financial analysis for potential mergers, acquisitions, and investment opportunities.
- Identify and analyze key financial trends, risks, and opportunities to inform business strategy and improve profitability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and enhance financial reporting accuracy and efficiency.
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to evaluate new projects, products, and business initiatives.
- Present findings and recommendations clearly and concisely to non-financial audiences, influencing key business decisions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field; Master's degree or CFA designation preferred.
- 5-7+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, investment banking, or a related field within financial services.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, financial modeling) and PowerPoint.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
- Experience with financial planning software (e.g., Adaptive Insights, Hyperion, Anaplan) and business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly.
