Responsibilities
- Perform complex financial modeling and forecasting to support long-term strategic planning and budgeting cycles.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and internal performance metrics to identify growth opportunities.
- Prepare detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for executive leadership and board meetings.
- Conduct variance analysis to explain differences between actuals and budgets, providing actionable insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Risk, Treasury, Operations) to optimize capital allocation and resource efficiency.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of the company's financial systems and reporting dashboards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (Master’s degree or MBA preferred).
- 5+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, preferably within the banking or financial services sector.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and spreadsheet management (Advanced Excel required).
- Experience with SQL, Python, or Tableau is a strong plus.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data to non-financial stakeholders.
