Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to support investment valuations and strategic planning.
- Perform detailed variance analysis to explain monthly financial results to the executive leadership team.
- Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes with cross-functional department heads.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights to improve operational efficiency.
- Conduct thorough industry and competitor research to identify emerging market trends and investment opportunities.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accuracy in financial reporting and compliance with GAAP standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting; MBA or CFA preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in corporate finance, investment banking, or financial planning & analysis (FP&A).
- Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling software (e.g., Anaplan, Adaptive Insights).
- Strong understanding of GAAP, P&L management, and cash flow analysis.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to distill complex data into clear, persuasive executive presentations.
- Proven ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced, high-stakes professional environment.
