Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain complex financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support strategic initiatives, investment decisions, and business development.
- Prepare detailed financial reports, presentations, and dashboards for senior management and stakeholders.
- Identify and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to track financial performance and provide actionable insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, sales, and operations, to optimize financial outcomes.
- Perform valuation analysis for potential mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate finance activities.
- Assist in the annual budgeting process and long-range financial planning.
- Continuously seek to improve financial processes, systems, and reporting methodologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field; MBA or CFA preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or investment banking, preferably within the financial services sector.
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros), and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and translate it into clear, concise insights.
- Experience with financial planning software (e.g., Hyperion, Anaplan) and business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and valuation methodologies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts to non-financial audiences.
