Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end monthly and annual financial close processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare complex financial statements, reconciliations, and variance analysis reports for senior leadership.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, local regulations, and internal control procedures.
- Lead the annual audit process in coordination with external auditors and provide necessary documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and system efficiencies.
- Mentor junior accountants and provide training on financial best practices.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings and regulatory reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (Master’s degree preferred).
- CPA, CMA, or EA certification is a strong plus.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in financial accounting and reporting.
- Proficiency in financial software (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and internal controls.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present to stakeholders.
