Responsibilities
- Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Manage general ledger reconciliation and variance analysis, providing insights to senior leadership.
- Prepare complex financial reports, including budget vs. actuals, variance analysis, and forecasting models.
- Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Lead and mentor junior accountants, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accuracy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational decisions based on financial data.
Qualifications
- CPA, CMA, or Master’s degree in Accounting/Finance is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in financial accounting and reporting.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUPs).
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and internal control frameworks.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, for stakeholder reporting.
