Responsibilities
- Lead the month-end and year-end close procedures, ensuring all deliverables are completed accurately and on time.
- Prepare complex financial statements and management reports in accordance with US GAAP and internal policies.
- Perform detailed account reconciliations for balance sheet accounts and investigate any significant variances.
- Assist external auditors during quarterly reviews and annual examinations by providing necessary schedules and documentation.
- Manage fixed asset registers, including capitalization, depreciation, and disposal tracking.
- Ensure compliance with SOX internal controls and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial processes and improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (CPA or CMA certification is highly preferred).
- 5+ years of progressive experience in corporate accounting and financial reporting.
- Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and financial statement preparation.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data to non-finance stakeholders.
