The Role:
In this key position, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with GAAP standards, and providing insightful analysis to senior management. We value autonomy, accuracy, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Responsibilities
- Lead the monthly and annual financial close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial statements.
- Perform complex general ledger reconciliations and variance analysis to drive financial performance.
- Prepare and review journal entries, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to internal controls.
- Support external audits by providing requested schedules, narratives, and supporting documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and implement best practices.
- Monitor cash flow and assist in the preparation of cash flow forecasts and budgeting activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (Master’s degree preferred).
- CPA certification (or CPA candidate) is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or public accounting.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite).
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
