Key Duties:

• Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements.
• Prepare complex variance analysis and management reports to support senior leadership decision-making.
• Manage the general ledger, ensuring accuracy in reconciliations and journal entries.
• Ensure full compliance with UK GAAP and HMRC regulations.
• Oversee the audit process and coordinate with external auditors.
• Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and data integrity.

Qualifications:

• ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent professional qualification (Part-qualified accepted with relevant experience).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial accounting, preferably within a corporate environment.
• Strong working knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite experience is a plus).
• Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong communication skills, capable of explaining complex financial data to non-finance stakeholders.
