Key Duties:
- Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements.
- Prepare complex variance analysis and management reports to support senior leadership decision-making.
- Manage the general ledger, ensuring accuracy in reconciliations and journal entries.
- Ensure full compliance with UK GAAP and HMRC regulations.
- Oversee the audit process and coordinate with external auditors.
- Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and data integrity.
Qualifications:
- ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent professional qualification (Part-qualified accepted with relevant experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial accounting, preferably within a corporate environment.
- Strong working knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite experience is a plus).
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication skills, capable of explaining complex financial data to non-finance stakeholders.
