Responsibilities
- Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all financial statements are prepared in accordance with GAAP.
- Manage complex general ledger reconciliations and intercompany accounting transactions.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports, variance analysis, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for executive leadership.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and external regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assist in budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning initiatives.
- Lead external audits and coordinate with external auditors to ensure timely and accurate filings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; Master’s degree (MBA) or CPA/CMA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in financial accounting, preferably within a corporate or asset management environment.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Strong understanding of US GAAP accounting standards and financial reporting regulations.
- Excellent analytical problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
