Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Manage complex general ledger reconciliations and ensure SOX compliance
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with accuracy and timeliness
- Develop and implement financial controls to mitigate risks and enhance reporting efficiency
- Collaborate with auditors during external financial audits and tax preparations
- Support budgeting and forecasting initiatives through variance analysis
- Maintain adherence to GAAP and evolving regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software (SAP, Oracle) and Excel with macros/pivot tables
- Demonstrated expertise in month-end closing, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Strong understanding of GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial controls
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder reporting
