Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with accurate journal entries and reconciliations
- Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Manage complex tax filings and support external audit processes
- Mentor junior accountants and improve departmental financial reporting systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate finance
- Expertise in financial statement preparation and complex reconciliations
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, tax regulations, and SOX compliance
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven ability to lead projects and mentor team members
