Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements in accordance with GAAP and IFRS standards
- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes with accuracy and timeliness
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls to ensure compliance with SOX requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning
- Conduct in-depth variance analysis and provide actionable insights to senior leadership
- Manage audit processes and liaise with external auditors to ensure seamless compliance
- Mentor junior accountants and optimize financial workflows using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA certification strongly preferred
- 5+ years of progressive experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Expertise in full-cycle accounting, including GL reconciliation, journal entries, and account reconciliations
- Proficient in GAAP, IFRS, and SOX compliance requirements
- Advanced skills in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables) and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite)
- Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills with ability to translate financial data into strategic insights
