Responsibilities
- Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance and regulatory accuracy
- Lead financial audits and coordinate with external auditors to ensure seamless reporting
- Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard financial assets and mitigate risks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives
- Mentor junior accountants and optimize financial reporting workflows using ERP systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with CPA certification required
- 5+ years of progressive experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP or Oracle) and Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated experience with multi-state tax compliance and audit preparation
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present financial information to stakeholders
