Responsibilities
- Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance and SOX adherence
- Lead external audit coordination and manage internal control documentation
- Develop and implement process improvements for accounting workflows and reporting systems
- Provide financial insights and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making
- Mentor junior accountants and serve as subject matter expert for technical accounting matters
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification required
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Expertise in multi-entity consolidation and complex intercompany transactions
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP or Oracle) and Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated experience with SOX 404 compliance and internal controls
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
