Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with rigorous reconciliation
- Develop and implement financial controls to mitigate risk and enhance accuracy
- Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable insights to senior leadership
- Manage audit processes and liaise with external auditors
- Optimize financial reporting systems for efficiency and scalability
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, consolidation, and SOX compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving aptitude
