Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance and SEC reporting requirements
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with journal entries and reconciliations
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls to mitigate financial risks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Manage audit processes and serve as primary liaison to external auditors
- Implement process improvements using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and automation tools
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving aptitude
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder presentations and reporting
- Experience managing audits and regulatory compliance processes
