Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance analysis
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Lead internal control initiatives and SOX compliance documentation
- Develop financial models and forecasts for executive decision-making
- Manage intercompany transactions and consolidation processes
- Coordinate external audits and ensure timely tax filing
- Mentor junior accounting staff on technical best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software (NetSuite preferred)
- Deep understanding of GAAP and regulatory compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience managing SOX 404 audits and internal controls
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
