Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP and SEC regulations
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliations
- Develop and maintain internal controls to ensure financial data accuracy and integrity
- Collaborate with auditors during external reviews and implement audit recommendations
- Manage complex accounting for investments, derivatives, and partnership structures
- Streamline financial reporting processes using ERP systems and automation tools
- Provide insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CPA candidate required
- 5+ years of progressive experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in Excel with VBA knowledge; experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Demonstrated expertise in complex financial reporting for investment vehicles
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills for presenting financial information to stakeholders
- Experience with SEC filings and regulatory compliance
