Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead month-end closing processes and reconcile complex balance sheet accounts
- Manage financial reporting for multi-entity operations across 3 states
- Collaborate with audit teams during SOX 404 compliance reviews
- Develop and maintain internal controls for financial processes
- Mentor junior accountants on technical accounting standards
- Support strategic financial modeling for business expansion initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance with CPA certification required
- 5+ years in public accounting or corporate finance role
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX, and multi-state tax compliance
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and SAP S/4HANA
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with financial reporting for SEC registrants
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
