Responsibilities
- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Develop and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning initiatives
- Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable insights to senior leadership
- Manage audit processes and coordinate with external auditors for seamless annual reviews
- Mentor junior accounting staff and optimize accounting workflows for efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CPA candidacy strongly preferred
- 5+ years of progressive experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Expertise in full-cycle accounting and financial reporting standards (GAAP/IFRS)
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP) and MS Excel
- Demonstrated experience with SOX compliance and internal controls frameworks
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication abilities to articulate financial insights to non-financial stakeholders
