As a Senior Financial Accountant, you will be the guardian of our financial integrity, ensuring our books are accurate, our reporting is timely, and our strategic decisions are backed by solid data.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end monthly and annual financial close processes ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with GAAP and internal policies.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate discrepancies to maintain ledger integrity.
- Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process by providing insightful variance analysis to senior management.
- Coordinate with external auditors during the annual audit cycle and provide requested documentation.
- Maintain accounting records and ensure strict compliance with tax regulations and internal controls.
- Streamline accounting workflows and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- CPA, CMA, or Master’s in Accounting (MAcc) is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in financial accounting within a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and financial modeling.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial data to non-finance stakeholders.
