Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Develop and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with SOX requirements
- Collaborate with auditors during external financial examinations
- Streamline accounting operations through process automation initiatives
- Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making
- Mentor junior accounting staff and oversee system implementations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CPA candidate required
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite)
- Demonstrated experience with complex financial reporting and analysis
- Strong understanding of SOX compliance and internal controls
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication skills with stakeholders at all levels
