Responsibilities
- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes ensuring GAAP compliance
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements with detailed variance analysis
- Manage SOX compliance documentation and internal control testing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and strategic planning
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and cash flow management
- Develop financial models for scenario analysis and decision support
- Mentor junior accountants and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, SAP, and QuickBooks
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with multinational consolidation and intercompany transactions
- Proven ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder presentations
