Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead month-end and year-end close processes with accuracy and timeliness
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls for financial reporting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and variance analysis
- Manage reconciliations for complex accounts and ensure audit readiness
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting efficiency
- Support strategic initiatives through financial modeling and scenario analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in GAAP, financial reporting standards, and SOX compliance
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and MS Excel
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Experience leading month-end close processes and audit engagements
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present complex data clearly
