Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with commentary for executive leadership
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and internal controls across all accounting operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Manage audit processes and coordinate with external auditors for seamless reviews
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting efficiency
- Mentor junior accounting staff through structured training programs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate setting
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (NetSuite experience a plus)
- Demonstrated expertise in financial statement preparation and analysis
- Strong understanding of SOX compliance and internal controls
- Exceptional attention to detail with problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder presentations
- Experience with multi-currency transactions and international accounting standards
