Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with multi-entity consolidations
- Develop and implement internal controls to mitigate financial risks
- Collaborate with audit teams to resolve technical accounting issues
- Mentor junior staff while maintaining accurate documentation
- Optimize financial reporting systems for efficiency and accuracy
- Drive process improvements through automation and data analytics
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and multi-jurisdictional reporting
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and Excel modeling
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving
- Experience leading cross-functional financial projects
