Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance and SOX adherence
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with detailed variance analysis
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls for financial reporting systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and strategic financial planning
- Manage audit processes and documentation for external regulators
- Implement process improvements using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Mentor junior accountants and oversee team training initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Expertise in financial reporting standards (GAAP/IFRS) and regulatory compliance
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, SAP, and financial analysis tools
- Proven track record of managing SOX audits and internal controls
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder reporting and presentations
