Responsibilities
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Oversee general ledger operations and ensure compliance with GAAP and IFRS standards
- Lead financial audits and coordinate with external auditors to ensure smooth execution
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for process improvement
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls to mitigate financial risks
- Prepare detailed financial statements and executive dashboards for stakeholders
- Mentor junior accounting staff and cross-functional teams on financial processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and SEC reporting requirements
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, SAP, and QuickBooks Enterprise
- Proven experience with financial audits and SOX compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication abilities for stakeholder reporting
- Experience in multinational financial reporting and consolidation
