Responsibilities
- Lead the month-end and year-end close processes with high accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare complex financial statements, including Balance Sheets and P&Ls, with detailed variance analysis.
- Ensure strict adherence to GAAP and internal control procedures.
- Manage the annual external audit process and coordinate with external auditors.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and complex intercompany transactions.
- Mentor junior accounting staff and provide training on accounting standards.
- Streamline accounting workflows and implement process improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA certification is a strong plus).
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in financial accounting and reporting.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, specifically SAP or Oracle.
- Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and macros.
- Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
