Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes to ensure timely financial reporting.
- Prepare and review comprehensive financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP standards.
- Lead the coordination of external audits and provide detailed documentation to ensure seamless compliance.
- Analyze complex budgetary variances and provide actionable recommendations to executive leadership.
- Oversee corporate tax filings and ensure all local, state, and federal regulatory requirements are met.
- Optimize internal accounting workflows by implementing automated solutions and robust internal controls.
- Partner with the FP&A team to support long-range financial planning and forecasting initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Active CPA license or demonstrated progress toward certification is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within a public accounting or mid-to-large corporate environment.
- Expert-level proficiency in ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle.
- Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and complex financial modeling.
- Deep understanding of US GAAP and current financial reporting regulations.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into executive summaries.
